Timestamps


Neither webmail nor my email client (Thunderbird) will pick up the proper timestamp from deepin. Seem instead to be defaulting to GMT.

Thanks to a linux-savvy friend I have the answer--if anyone else is facing the same problem the solution is simply to run:

dpkg-reconfigure tzdata

and follow the prompts in the window that opens up.
