Taskbar callout/menu white text on white background Deepin 15.11 on mint

Not seen any reference to this elsewhere. All other theme settings seem fine. I've tried a limited about of playing about with various window themes but to no avail.

Screenshot below demonstrates the issue, doesn't matter whether mode is efficient or fashion. I can access the callout menu items by highlighting so not the end of the world, but a nuisance.

Apologies - hoping it's sorted now. Google photos are not easy to link to except as shared albums.

I'm so sorry these are not showing properly. Thanks for the link. Third time lucky.

what is the name of tool bar, which one is that?
Panel something something...? It looks like one I used in a knock off arch Linux I once had installed on my laptop. Find out which what that is then search for themes for it. Add them to your local home side. then right click on it and select a different theme, or and find the conf for it, then play around with its fg and bg settings, and font color if it has that, until you get it fixed. I/m sure it is in a hidden directory somewhere in your home directory.

plank is that the name???

if it is the one I think it is not knowing it actual name though, right click on it in spots until you get a pop up menu. then select an option, and take it from there.

It might be some of these

https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2016/09/...ck-themes-pack
https://www.addictivetips.com/ubuntu...k-dock-themes/

just install a few of its themes then change it, hopefully that will fix the white on white issue.

or grep its conf file for white.
Code:

grep -rwn (path to search) -e white file
that will show you everywhere in the file that has the word 'white' so you can see whats what. Then hopefully find where it is placing white background, and white foreground, so you will know where to go to change it.
if it is using a hex color code , well swap that out with the word white.

Many thanks, I'll give them a try. I have linux mint 19.2 but I heard about Deepin and really love its styling. So I installed deepin as a desktop environment following the instructions here: https://computingforgeeks.com/instal...tu-linux-mint/

The taskbar / Docktray shown on the screenshot is displayed under 'fashion' mode. Having said that, the white on white also shows on the more traditional taskbar option under Deeepin. Chances are it's the interplay with mint and deepin but I'll try and identify it. If I can't, I can't and I'll live with it but I do really like this Deepin feel in the few days I've been using it.

oh there is a way, just need to keep digging until you find it. With them super ultra-modern desktop there are so many configure files to it, each part having its own, it can get tasking though.

I use older ones like Fluxbox, WindowManger, xfce4 it's easier to manipulate them.
