NVIDIA drivers and Jockey
 

I wanted to install Deepin 12.12.1 on two desktop machines. One is ATI and the other NVIDIA. I tried a live session with the ATI box and all went well so I completed a full install. Software center froze during the upgrade process (which was very slow) but by watching my network traffic I was able to determine when it had finished and the machine now runs fine.

During the live session on my NVIDIA box however, I had multiple crashes with white noise so I suspected a driver issue. Jockey identified the drivers so I went ahead with the install. On booting however, there is no sign of Jockey in the program launchers. Any idea where it went to and how I can launch it to get my NVIDIA drivers?

Jockey isn't a program to "launch" drivers it is a program to identify and install drivers. I think there's something called "restricted driver manager" which could be part of "Software Centre" which you can use to verify that the drivers are installed and in use but other than that you have no need of Jockey any more.
To see whether you've the NVIDIA driver installed and working, as well as which version you have, you could also look for nvidia-settings in your menu if Cannonical still install that with the drivers.

Thank you for responding. I found it in the system settings under "Additional Drivers" which is where I should have looked anyway.
