Login screen freezes on waking up from suspend

Hi, I am using Deepin 15.3 64-bit. The login screen freezes on waking up from suspend (including the mouse). I cannot even switch to another tty using Ctrl+Alt+F1. I am using the default xserver-xorg-video-nouveau graphics drivers. How do I resolve this issue?

You could try switching to the proprietary drivers, but it probably won't help. this problem is similar to the one I have (see my thread below). I've concluded I probably need a better video card. I'm fortunate though in that my mouse still works, so I can right-click and get my wallpaper back. If switching drivers doesn't help, why not just disable suspend? Just shut down when you are through. I know it's a bit of a hassle, but I consider Deepin so good that it would be worth it to me, until I figured out a solution.

Okay, apparently installing the nvidia driver (i have an nvidia geforce 820m card) from Driver Manager application resolves this issue.
