Deepin Movie not running

Hi there,

I can't get the Deepin Movie to run - so I use something else. But for the sake of seeing it run I thought I would post this data from terminal here. Perhaps someone can understand what is needed to fix the problem.

Code:

p.s. I tried to post this on the new Deepin Forum but it doesn't work for me on Firefox.

Thanks

Is the file /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libass.so.4 present on your system? According to the error message, it would appear to be implicated in this problem.

thanks for replying frankbee,

Synaptic tells me that libass is installed. It apparently is a library to do with subtitles.

I'm wondering whether my NVIDIA driver is causing issues because of the references to the OpenGL shader being a problem.

Good luck. I don't run Deepin, so I'm not in much position to help beyond trying to assist in parsing an error message. Plus I use VLC for almost everything audio-visual and all my computers are Intel inside (that wasn't a decision--it just happened).
