Can login after fresh install but got only mouse and desktop wallpaper (no icon, no rightclick)

Hello everyone,

I install Deepin OS 15.4 few days ago now but i've come into an issu e.
When i start my computer i can perfectly see the login screen and log into my user's account create during install. But once i got to the desktop i can't see anything. No icons, rightclick doesn't work, Windows key doesn't show up app menu. Only thing i can do is Cntrl + Alt + F1 to go in console mode.

I have no idea what's happening and what i've done wrong. If someone can help me wonder what happened it would be wonderful.

Thanks in advance.

When I was running Deepin I had all kinds of troubles.
I'm not running it anymore and the new DE that I installed I didn't much like tho it solved the problem.

Deepin is based on Debian Unstable and the DE is based on QT-5 toolkit.

Installing another DE may help. It worked for me.

Have you updated Deepin since your fresh installation?
IF NOT you might want to drop to a root prompt shell and do that first.
Code:

sudo apt-get update
-::-If that doesn't work try installing another DE. Mate works very nicely.-::-

Thank you for explanation but i think i'll just get ride of this DE and change it
(try running game through crossover but got input lags around 4ms which is too much for my wacom, and got errors when starting the distro)

I already tried an update just after a fresh install but after restart my terminal was stuck (saying it was used by another process)
I totally messed up with this distro so hum yeah gonna move to debian stable i supposed

Thank you for your reply and have a nice day

You're Welcome.

You can't go wrong with Debian it's rock solid.
