Question 1cm. All long strip at the right side

Hello community, it's a pleasure to be here with you....

I will explain my case as briefly as possible.

I have a strip on the right side of my monitor screen (1920x1080) that is sometimes invisible and sometimes black.

It is definitely not a monitor issue since, what is hidden behind it is the active window that is there, but the cursor can be seen well OVER that strip (screenshot attached).

I already tried with different resolutions, I changed the nvidia v460 driver for nouveau and it was worse, so I went back to the nvidia one.

By the way, I don't know if it's linked to this, but when I switch from nvidia to nouveau and then back to nvidia, the grub loading first shows weird screens and then it loads fine to choose between win7 and Deepin. If I choose Win7 it displays perfectly at 1920x1080 without that sideband.

Link to show issue (very short video): https://youtu.be/pWTAkjuBX00

Thanks in advance for reply

The fact that the cursor is visible points to this being a driver or graphics adapter issue. The mouse cursor is usually a hardware sprite, and can often appear normal over otherwise corrupted graphics.

What is the exact make and model of your GPU? (Post the output of lspci -v)

You say the nouveau driver was "worse." Please describe exactly how it was different.

Which kernel are you running? (Post the output of uname -a)
