My choice in cert exams


I chose LPIC because it is not specifically tied to one vendor, but I like the arguments made in this thread about the practical nature of the RHCE exam.

Although my primary duties are Linux database and MS desktop programming, my auxiliary duties include the responsibility of our SCO Unix and Linux systems.

I have found that prepping for LPIC takes me to areas of Linux that I would not use during my normal work day.
