Like I said earlier, you've convinced yourself that a Certificate is a "Golden Ticket."

You should seriously consider whether you're simply being taken advantage of ... say, being told that The Good Life is in the USA and that to get there you need to pass this exam, and once you do, The World's Your Oyster.

Uh huh.

Perhaps you should be a good bit more cynical than that.

If a hiring company badly-enough wants someone to do something, that company should be expected to pay for the training at its own expense; not yours. (They might oblige you to sign something that says that, if you skip-town too soon after taking the training, you'll have to reimburse them for it.) They're making an investment in you, and it's just a capital expense for them.

If you're being obliged to pay what I gather is a large sum of money, ostensibly for an "opportunity," then: caveat emptor. What they're really selling is that book, and of course that certificate. Once they've got that, it's just move on to the next suck... I mean, student.

Also: if a company is telling you that you're going to have to travel 5,000 miles from home to The Land Of Opportunity, well, I live in that Land, and right now I see a lot of very disillusioned, very homesick people over here. I also see an unmistakable trend – a form of "cloud computing" – that promises to massively reduce the actual number of people required to do "system administration" on a large scale. This industry changes extremely rapidly; it always has. Training programs of all kinds often run well behind that curve.

Be cynical. It's a very important survival skill on this planet.

No need to pay separately!! Text books are provided free with the course fee in Sri Lanka..Since the form in the last page has to be presented for the exam.

I have no idea how this system works in India and other suburb countries.

Well if one is going to take the equivalent of the redhat "final exams" ,
then you might actually want to study the textbooks .
