Heh ... never took any exams, but I tend to
collect exam-prep guides, which I usually find on the dollar table at bookstores, or at used-book stores. Even if the information is "several years old," so might be the production systems that you'll encounter. And, in any case, these books really show you some of the real-world situations that
(some professional instructional designer anticipated that ...) you might encounter in the field.
It's quite amazing how much useful boots-knowledge you can get for $2.00.
