Help....Linux + Study Guides!

Hi all,

I'm getting ready for Linux+(XKO-002)Certification in a couple of days, and I'm using "Test Out Navigation" and "Exam Force "Cram Master" for my study material.

I already have a start because I've been going through these materials for a while but now, its finally show time and I'm writing in 2 days.

I was wondering if these study guides are good enough and if anybody used these and had any success?

Any help on this is greatly appreciated!

I just took the CompTIA Linux+ yesterday and passed.

I used this one book by Robb Tracy from Amazon.com. I found that the book is about 85% helpful, but the other 15% will require experience.

Make sure to REALLY understand file permissions, umasks, chmod, chage, chown, chgrp, etc...
Understand the BASH shell REALLY well.
Know the different environment variables, their names, and what they do
hardwares, I/O, IRQ, modules, etc...
VI editor
man & info
different network daemons and services
configuration files - where are they located and what is in the configuration files
basic networking - TCP/IP, subnets, protocols
iptables
route
ifconfig
security possibilities and the risks
root
encryption algorithms
secure methods of remote access
init.d vs xinit.d
runlevels
files systems, fstab

etc...

It's a tricky test so read carefully each question! 98 questions
