Has anybody tried trouble-maker ??

Dear Friends,

I just wanted to know if anyone out there has tried the program "trouble-maker" available on sourceforge.net.

The program is useful for creating problems in your system and you have to repair it. It also provides solutions. It is primarily made for RHEL but also works equally well on SuSe, FreeBSD, Fedora, Gentoo,Debian, Mac OS X and Solaris.

This can be very useful for RHCE preparation !!

Also wanted to know if the rhce-ts-4* scripts install and run equally well on CentOS 4.1 which is based on RHEL 4 ??

I am using CentOS 4.1 at home to prepare for RHCE which is now on RHEL 4 with SElinux as a topic.

Any thing on this would be helpful.

No but it sounds very tempting. Thanks for that!

Thanks for the heads-up about trouble-maker! I'm very good at creating trouble for myself. It would be great to have a way to create the trouble, and have an easy way out.

Rche scripts may, and may not, work equally well with CentOS. The only way I can think of to be sure is to check the documentation at CentOS for more information.

Perhaps a bit of script editing to port the scripts to CentOS is all that is needed. If so, do the necessary editing, then upload the changed scripts to the CentOS website, and give something back to the community.

Just a suggestion, without rancor, but full of hope for the future.
