I read on an old posting that you can get your RHCT by sitting the RHCE and if you don't score high enough you might be able to still get the RHCT.

Can anyone confirm this is the still available? If so, does anyone know the score you need for a RHCT?

Uh huh, you don't need a score though, you need to pass the RHCT half of the exam. RHCT = desktop admin, RHCE = server admin.

At the end of June I took the RHCE test (which is 3 hours long). There is an RHCT portion and a RHCE portion. To be an RHCE you have to pass both portions. When I took the test I realized that I wouldn't be able to pass the RHCE portion so I spent the entire 3 hours on the RHCT portion. This technique allowed me to pass the RHCT with an 85%. I was actively working on answering questions all the way to the end. I believe the RHCT exam is only 2 hours. If you only want or need the RHCT and can afford the RHCE exam, it gives you an extra hour over the RHCT exam alone.
