win4lin pro will not recognize parallel port

Recently I bought win4lin pro and am using Win Xp as the guest system within Linspire. By the way, I love Linspire!!! Wish I could totally kick Windows to the curb...but sadly I still have specific software that will only run in Windows OS. The win4lin works pretty well (though improvements could be made with regard to speed) but my concern is that my parallel port is not recognized so the dongle that is on that port for use with a specific software program will not work and therefore neither will the software. By shutting down and rebooting into Windows XP, I'm good to go with the software and it works fine, but not in win4lin pro. Is there a setting I should adjust or something? Thanks for any help. Diane
