question about lindows or"Linspire"
with lindows or Linspire can u install normal linux apps on it?

Yes, it's a linux distro, you can install linux apps on it...however, Linspire blows so hard, I don't hesitate calling it the worst distro of linux I've ever used.

OK I have to preface this by saying that I refuse to use linspire myself (tho I admit to having liked the old Lindows name for obvious reasons)
I find that newbies really like Linspire for it's windows like interface. I install it all the time for people who just want to try it out. HOWEVER, when they come back(and they almost always do) it is either to get rid of it completely and return to M$ or to see if there is a more powerful version. I then usually install Mandrake for these people or Debian.
