Well someone posted a TIP in the Hints, Tips and Trics section of the Official Linspire forums a long time ago on howto do this. I think it was by using Printer Sharing (remote CUPS or something). It required editing a few config files but it shouldn't be that easy.
I used this method a while ago but I switched to a Router with buildin Printer Server (USR-8001) it works fine for both Windows and Linux and it doesn't require a system to be running 27/7 to make sure everyone on the network can print.

It's about Linux -> Linux printer sharing, but with some luck it also works with Windows. It uses IPP and IF I'm correct the Printer Servers that are build into routers these days also use this.
