New Users Beware of posting at the Freespire forum

I have been using Freespire since its conception and have not had any problems to post about, that is the good news.

I have though been a daily vistor to the Freespire Forums. And that is the bad news because I do not think I ever would want to post at that forums. I have never seen such an unfriendly place in all my life.

I would encourage all new users to use LinuxQuestions, or other alternatives would be "Just Linux" and the "Linux Forums" until some people change their attitude over there.

Experienced users may want to use the Freespire Forums if they want to put up with the sarcasm, arguing (not discussions), rudeness, and ridiculing of other Linux Distros.

What is my point ? I feel like helping new Freespire users so they do not get discouraged. If given a fair chance, I feel Freespire will gain in popularity and should be one of the top distros in years to come. It just plain works right-out-of "the box"

While the "post at LQ rather than elsewhere" sentiment is appreciated, politeness dictates that I close this thread. We have a policy at LQ of not discussing, negatively, other forums.

We wouldn't appreciate it if they did it to us so we don't do it to them.
