Login in LinspireLive???
Hi,
I'm trying to play around with a LinspireLive cd. On one of my machines, the GUI will not come up without putting in a username and password. What am I supposed to do when this happens? My other 2 machines lead me right to the desktop. Obviously, a live cd shouldn't require a login. Is there a default login I can use??
This also happens with a couple of other live cd distros I have.
Thanks,

Hmmm
You will have noticed that Knoppix logs you in as knoppix or knoppixuser, and SuSE logs you in as linux (from memory, don't quote me)
I've not seen your situation with Linspire though.
Have you tried hitting enter to get rid of it? Or maybe it comes back... hmmm...
How about type in linspire as a login? and nothing for the password?
Might be worth trying combinations like that.

I faced the same problem.
I tried every possible login name (it doesn't ask for password)
linux
linus
unix
lindows
linspire
root
guest
...
All are reported as wrong.
If anyone knows the solution please tell me.

The nearest I have to that is 450, and it doesn't do that trick. Hmmm.
