Linspire-Live CD partially boot, command grub:\ appears
I am a linux newbie. Live CD burnt with nero at lowest speed. Should I go straight for the 5.0 version? A forum member reported that encontered problems with Live version dispeared once using the installation version. Thanks for clues. Josil
It's also possible that your system doesn't like the GRUB bootloader. Sometimes it can be fixed by changing some BIOS settings.
I don't know if running the installer for Five-O will "fix" the problems.
i had problems with the live version but the install version installed and worked first time
it would be best to install to a separate HDD for this as if it fails and you are duel booting with windows it may effect the win install ...
