Hi, I am trying to install the intel wireless 2200BG wireless networking card on LINSPIRE FIVE-OH and it still does not recognize it. The 2200BG is a supported card on LINSPIRE.com

I have done the NDISWRAPPER and installed it with the latest version of the drivers and when i do the MODPROBE NDISWRAPPER i get the following error:

FATAL: INSERTING NDISRWRAPPER OPERATION NOT PERMITTED.

what does that mean and what i can do to have it properly working.

I have also done the NDISWRAPPER -L i believe, and it says DRIVER FILE PRESENT, DEVICE PRESENT.

Well since you get a "not permitted" message my question would be : are you trying this as Root or as User, since I guess a normal uses doesn't have the needed rights to do it.

On a sidenote, I use NDisWrapper on Debian SID and I realy didn't like it.
