Gaming on Linspire

I finally accomplished the last thing on my list for Linux, which I did not
think would be possible for many years to come. I can now play my
favorite games on Linux.

I use Linspire 5.0 and Cedega.
Cedega is a cool program that makes it possible to install Windows
games on Linux. transgaming.com

Any Linspire users that are still dual-booting Windows might want to
check into using Cedega for your gaming needs. Gaming was my
last excuse to hold onto Windows and now my Windows partition
is no more and not needed :P

Is Cegeda in the CNR? Klik/apt? I am not a huge game user. Most of that is saved for my XBox and PS2. But there is one game that is sitting on my "now getting dusty" Windows partition that I would love to play again....Looked it up in the database and it is supported! I am gonna put this on my "to do" list.

Thanks for the info!

Cedega is not in CNR yet, but there are easy instructions to install on this post.
https://forum.linspire.com/forum/sho...b=5&o=&fpart=1

and you may want to check to see if your game will work on the transgaming site
http://transgaming.org/gamesdb/
or
http://transgaming.org/gamesdb/search.mhtml

I would only install games that have a 4-5 star playability score.
Anything less than 4 star seems problematic.
