Talking can anyone please advise me


I purchased two versions of Freespire CD's from ebay but i cannot install them onto my computer. The error message reads as follows /bin/sh;can't access tty; job control turned off (initramfs ) Can anyone advise on how to overcome this problem.

press CTRL+ALT+F1 let me know what it says , also are you doing a live install ? you might want to try this

modified boot message which is accessed
with F6 to include:

all_generic_ide

.... in the boot prompt before 'quiet splash'. As a result, freespire
was able to boot from the liveCD.
