Thank you for actually taking the time out of your busy schedule and pushing for that ISO. Just wanted to be the first to say thanks.
Oh and Yoper 2.1.1 should be coming out here soon. Look for that as well

Update on the ISO:

Is there a freely distributable version of linare?

Thanks for making the ISO available for download.

Is this ISO freely distributable? if not, any idea where one can be found?

I think that linare is great yes it looks like xp but it sure doesn't act like it I think it is one of the easiest of ALL of the distros I have tried. There is a iso available at http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=linare
Its the professional edition
