I downloaded the ISO yesterday and I am really impressed. The look is nice and the applications are chosen well.

There has been one real problem: Linare doesn't want to install on my older AMD K62 450Mhz - it's got 128MB and I offered 4 GB for the system. Is this not enough? Well, on a newer machine there were no problems at all.

Two remarks: First it would be nice to have a possibility to choose the bootmanager: Usually I am not using Grub but Linare just installed it for me without asking. Well, the other operating system was detected and is still bootable. Second there are some problems with the Linare-theme. Some smaller buttons do not show up correctly.

is this iso a trial version??? what limitations does it have or what does is missing in comparison to the version that is for sale??

thanks... linare IMO sems intresting especially if your trying to convert people to linux... got to try it out myself 1st tho...
