how to connect to internet by lan???

yo my problem is :

tell me how to connect to internet using lan network???????????/

there is creator in the descop but it works and create connection only for modems :[

i am huge n00b plz help me

which is ur internt server ???a windows machine or linux machine

ok so lets start :

server is on windows (sux ) XP
internet is sharing by switch
server lan ip is : 192.168.0.1

hi there

set internet sharing on windows Xp

then set ur linux machine to obtain ip addres automatically

restart network service

and u r done,u can start browsing with linux
