upgrading libranet

has anyone done an upgrade from 2.7 to 2.8 ? I've heard very good things about libranet but I don't want to go to a distro that requires clean install for each new version.

Are the libranet people also good at keeping core components up-to-date ? I'm talking about kde, mozilla and these kind of important packages.

Thanks for any info.

The Libranet folks have a very good support section on their website, it includes upgrade scripts and instructions for upgrading the various components.
Also since Libranet is based on Debian and almost all the apt-get sources are official
Debian sources you can do virtually everything you could do with a Debian box.

Libranet is the best thing that happened to me since I first discovered Red Hat a few years ago.
