TV Card

I am considering purchasing a TV card. Which one has the least amount of trouble in Libranet? What program do I need to use to watch TV on my PC?

I am quite happy with the ATI TV Wonder VE, which is around $60 Cdn. xawtv is the classic linux tv tuner program. I recommend avicap (part of the avifile package) to record from tv or vhs.

There's a bunch of more sophisticated tv programs out there, for PVR purposes: tvtime, mythtv, etc. but I've only used xawtv.

i also have an ATI TV Wonder VE tv card,
i've used xawtv and tvtime,
tvtime rocks!!...its much better than xawtv (IMHO).
