Problem with apt-get

Hello,
I accidentally set the Kdevelop to be installed for libranet 2.8.1 before discovering that it was apparently already installed. So i am now getting the following message whenever i try to use apt-get now:
Code:
apt-get install bison
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libqt3-mt-dev: Depends: libxcursor-dev but it is not going to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).
I have tried to remove the libxcursor-dev package, as well as the xlib-dev package, to no avail.
I also tried as the tool suggests, to run apt-get -f install, which also doesn't work. All i wan't to do is install bison (without reinstalling the OS), but can't figure out what to do.

Any help would be very useful.

Thanks for your time.

(ignore the code text itself, i wanted to make the regurgitated text easy to read)

http://www.mail-archive.com/debian-x.../msg08640.html

from that link: Resolve the conflict with:
dpkg -i --force-overwrite /var/cache/apt/archives/libxcursor-dev_1.0.2-2_i386.deb

Then continue dist-upgrading.

I tried the way that you had on the last post but came up saying that libxcursor1 was not setup so I typed "apt-get install libxcursor1" and then all of the other packages installed and now everything is fine!
