Menus missing

I did the Libranet upgrade, then changed Synaptic to unstable.... upgrade K3B, Mozilla, and GDM. GDM was not working right so I reinstalled libranet GDM. I then noticed that the KDE menus are now gone. Also from the GDM I cannot choose KDE now. Which is fine, I use Gnome but something has happened. I did update-menus and received an error that it could not find KMail?? Not sure... Ideas???

ok. I will try that. Ok... I am a bit frustrated... I have several problems with Debian (Libranet 2.8.1). I will start another thread to address all the problems though.
