Libranet is now continued as LibraNext

I am happy and pleased to announce that I am continuing the much-loved but little-known Linux distribution Libranet. It still focuses on the same things that Libranet did. About the only difference is the name, which has been changed to LibraNext, to avoid confusion, and also because Tal said that he didn't want me to use it.

It now is available in two different lines: 1) Based on the old system (3.0 or less) and 2) Based on modern Debian Linux.

I am currently in the development stages right now, and I need help to make this endeavor possible.

Right now I am working on the modern line so that I can gain some experience.

Any comments, suggestions, or volunteers are greatly appreciated.

Also, if you could help me get in contact with some of the old Libranet development team, I would be very grateful.

What all do you need help with? I'm willing to devote a some time, if you need it, regardless whether it be testing, programming, etc. I'm just not a graphical artist though.... ;)

And do you have an official website?

Thanks. I will get in contact with you. Any one else interested?

Good luck. For those of us who only remember Libranet as "Debian thinly disguised" and have been using Linux w/o any support fee since the early nineties, what part of Libranet exactly are you focusing on? Just curious.

unSpawn,I am focusing on reliable software along with the technical support fee if it is desired. I intend to provide very reliable software, as well as lots of it, as I have had some pretty bad experiences with Ubuntu.
