how to configure a different mouse

I would like to thank everyone who suggested ways of regaining the use of my mouse.

can someone please let me know how to close this request for help?????

I have just installed Libranet. I would like to know where to find a configuration tool for my mouse. My mouse is not working and I will have to either use a virtual console or operate the GUI via the KB.

Any help will be appreciated.

You can manually edit your /etc/X11/XF86Config if you know the mouse you have or run "xf86config" as root.

You can run adminmenu (or xadminmenu) to reconfigure X which will (hopfully) detect your mouse.
