Angry apt sources update not working

I recently updated my apt/sources.list with:

##Marillat's NON-FREE repository (NOTE: pick one source)
deb http://marillat.free.fr/ unstable main
#deb http://marillat.free.fr/ testing main

I left the commented info in there from the site I copied it from (http://forum.libranet.com/viewtopic.php?t=1420) because I'm a newbie and didn't want to screw things up. Anyway, I googled for a while to make sure that this is the correct information for marillat and it looks like it is but when I do apt-get update it hangs when it reaches 94% of marillat. All other sources work fine. Also, it doesn't matter which of the two sources I choose to comment out, the result is the same for both so maybe there's something going on from marillat's end of things.

Any help is truly appreciated!

I just did an apt-get update, and marillat.free.fr was fine.

just some thoughts..

comment out (#) all other lines in your sources.list
before you do an apt-get update, first (as root) do a dpkg --configure -a
this will make sure nothings fscked up w/apt or dpkg
before you do an apt-get update, do a apt-get clean ---this will clean out the stored updates if something is messed up......

give it time....
depending on network traffic...sometimes marillat bogs down..i've had the same thing happen at blackdown and sometimes at debian.org.....an update for a 500k file has taken up to 20 minutes due to network traffic

later
