Thanks for pointing that out.

It's JDS, however, my understanding is that NeoShine uses a different base -not SuSE.

IS that your understanding also?

yes.
NeoShine uses another base developed by CS2C itself.

Sun China ERI has many collaborations on Gnome, Mozilla, etc with CS2C in recent years.
We also discussed on the development of linux base.
But there is not significant result until now.
