Network Manager Can't Detect Wi Fi Networks
The network manager can't detect any wi fi networks that can be detected by XP :( Are there any modifications needed to the code to get it to do so ?

Iīm newbie in Linux. I have a Asus eeePC 1000H and in Incognito no wireless at all. I pass as root this command: /sbin/iwconfig lo no wireless extensions eth0 no wireless extensions /usr/sbin/lspci ... 01:00.0 Network controller: RaLink RT2860 03:00.0 Ethernet controller: Attansic Technology Corp. Atheros AR8121/AR8113/AR8114 PCI-E Ethernet Controller. I searched the Net and I have found: For kernel <= 2.6.30 this wireless drivers isnīt implemented in kernel. Incognitoīs kernel is 2.6.28. Docs: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handboo...?part=4&chap=4 http://en.gentoo-wiki.com/wiki/Ralink_RT2860 Drivers: http://www.ralinktech.com/support.php?s=2 This driver has been tested and confirmed compatible with unencrypted, WEP, WPA-PSK, and WPA2-PSK networks. I proceed,but i canīt make either make install. Command no found in bash. Can any compile it and post clearly how implement? Can anonym update kernel to this drivers? Asus eeePC is largely available.
