Hello!

As I understand, setting network.http.send.RefererHeader in Firefox to 0, would enhance the security.

Is there a reason, the default value is set to 2 (in Firefox of Icognito)?

It's not necessary to do anything about this in Incognito. The RefControl Firefox extension is set to forge the referer to the root of the target site -- see the help for more information.

Note that some (stupid) websites depend on correct referer, so changing it in the way it's done in Incognito, disabling it, or similar might make these sites operate in a different way.
