Does anybody know what happened to the squashfile with firefox etc? I haven't been able to find it since RC1 came out or sometime back then? Has it been dropped because of lack of interest, or was there something wrong with it or something, and we're waiting for a new version? For that matter there was a web sfs and was there a multimedia one?
I don't remember there being a Firefox squashfile. Not to say there wasn't one, I just don't remember one. There is a Firefox package available to download at http://www.grafpup.org/download.php?...kages%2F2.0%2F or you can use the Package downloader program Gpkgtool to find it too.

Ah - looking at http://www.grafpup.com/download/index-2.0.php I may have imagined that there was already a moz_xxx.sfs
It is probably safe to assume that Nathan just hasn't made some of the sfs modules yet.
The moz_xxx.sfs and web_xxx.sfs are both planned but not completed right now. Ditto for mmd_xxx.sfs. I did do some work on web_xxx.sfs (actually it was nearly complete) but then lost the use of the computer I had the data stored on. But it shouldn't take too long to repeat the work, once I have the time and resources.
Nathan - so is it correct that SFS files no longer work with hard drive installations? Since I did a hard drive installation, I guess I have to download all the packages and install them myself?
Fortunately dotpups, pupgets, and dotpets are easy...
Yes, as of right now there is no tool for using squashfiles on a full hd install. My plan is to write a little gui app, which will alow you to select a module and copy the files out into your installation. I also want to extend the installer to do so as well. I'm going to post a bit about 2.01 soon, and this will be laid out as part of the plans.
