Question Cannot unmask use flag.

Hello,

I am currently trying to install x11-libs/libX11-1.4.1 with the xcb USE flag (installation fails without the flag), but the flag is hard-masked.

So I've created a folder /etc/portage/profile and into this folder a file "use.mask", the contents of which are simply "-xcb", which I understand is supposed to disable the mask and allow me to use the flag.

However, no such disablement has taken place and I'm at my wits end trying to enable this USE flag.

Thank you to anybody that can shed some light on the subject.

Prawn.

Maybe because libX11<=1.3.6 had an xcb use flag, but it was removed in 1.4.1

Ah, thank you. Removing the doc USE flag made compilation possible.

All the best,

Prawn.
