Boot hanging on "starting lo" when activating wireless drivers.
Hi, I recently installed Gentoo and I'm trying to get my Wireless to work. I'm running a Dell Mini 10v with a Broadcom wireless chip.
I followed the Gentoo Broadcom guide and the drivers didnt work, it said there was no wireless extension, so I went and tried the NDISWrapper method. When I emerge, the NDISWrapper method tells me I need to activate drivers such as IPW2200 in my kernel. When I activate these drivers my boot hangs on "starting lo". Anyone know what the problem might be? |
You don't want to use ndiswrapper for your laptop, it should be supported post lspci.
