Boot hanging on "starting lo" when activating wireless drivers.

Hi, I recently installed Gentoo and I'm trying to get my Wireless to work. I'm running a Dell Mini 10v with a Broadcom wireless chip.

I followed the Gentoo Broadcom guide and the drivers didnt work, it said there was no wireless extension, so I went and tried the NDISWrapper method.

When I emerge, the NDISWrapper method tells me I need to activate drivers such as IPW2200 in my kernel. When I activate these drivers my boot hangs on "starting lo".

Anyone know what the problem might be?

You don't want to use ndiswrapper for your laptop, it should be supported post lspci.
