Sounds like something you would hear on a Futurama episode...
This scares me in his environment section:

If organizations like the Nature Conservancy and the Sierra Club are serious about preserving wilderness areas, I want to give them the opportunity—by selling those areas to them. It is my considered opinion that Americans value these lands—from Yosemite to Yellowstone, from Allegheny to Winema—enough to care for them rather than trusting them to a government which has failed to do so. http://badnarik.org/plans_environment.php
Let's just mine yellowstone.

I havent read this entire thread, but id just like to add my two cents.
Its clear to me that as far as Bush has gone as president, he has been awful. I dont understand why on earth a country would want that man running it.
I hear that domestically Bush has been poor, but since im from the UK i can only base most of my opinions on his Foreign Policy. As far as the war on terror goes, Kerry would be far far more effective against it than Bush would. Invading the middle east wont make terrorism go away, it will only worsen it. And that is all that he has achieved.
Simply put, the USA is in FAR more danger today after the decisions Bush has made, than what would have happened had he not been there. Thats why it saddens me oh so so much to see some uninformed americans on TV saying "Yeah but Bush would keep us safe....."
Il comment quickly on Nader, because i think anyone who plans to vote for him should think again. At the end of the day, a vote for Nader is a vote for Bush, and that just doesnt add up to me. Dont vote emotionally for Nader, vote intelligently for Kerry.
After i finish my degree here i hope to move to the USA to study Law, and i hope to got that i wont have to accept George Bush as my president.

Given that the conutry like typical is split down the middle I woul say its more involved then that. Also most forieng news casts aren't very fairin the portrayl of the US as is our own networks heck people are split on which station is the best to watch as well.
its never clear cut. That why there are two major parties. People share different views. people who claim they can't see why the other side would vote for that other canidate is completely blinded by party loyalty and hatred.
at least we wont have to deal with these threads for hte next 4 years. unless bush wins. in which case it will be 2000 all over again.
If memory serves, last presidential election we had to deal with four months worth of, Gore is Prez, no Bush is Prez, no Gore is Prez, until the Supreme Court stepped in and said "enough."
Originally posted by microsoft/linux I'm choosig Kerry, not that he's great or anything. I'm not even old enough to vote but I do pay attention to the news, and it sounds like at this point anyone would be better thatn bush.
Dont believe everything you hear on the news. Its like Fahrenheit 9/11. Not everything in there is true.
A politition is no different then a lier. Politition. Lier. No difference.
--NOTE--
Im not pro bush. I dont know too much about him (like I said, too many lies) but I know one thing, he's making Iraq into another Vietnam.

The problem with the networks are some states are just rpedicted winners liek california is predicted winning to kerry even though only 7% of all the precincts have reported in. . We won't know for sure until at least tomorrow morning barring any remakes of Florida 2000.
If bush gets ohio its all over, if kerry gets it there is a still a chance. Either way I hope someone wins tonight, waiting weeks for results would kill me. Kerry = i celebrate, bush = mourn, wear black. I'm not going to sleep until this is overl
