how about this. i was wondering about this at 0430 this morning.
~ when you wonder if you can upgrade the processer in your coffee pot to make coffee faster.
or
~ when you refer to getting new furniture as a hardware upgrade.

yes... those are good ones, especially the coffee one, i can identify with that. which is why i use 'instant coffee, not quite as good as real coffee, but faster

Yea it did. I gotthe job and about 1 and 1/2 years later the parent company sold our division to our competitor and laid us all off, I've been on another contract for about 6 months now.

These days you are bound the be able to use someone else wireless connection.. I know there is a program that finds wireless singles for you, and connects you to them..

I have programs like that as well, but you can't keep connected to someones wireless AP while moving for very long

The laptop I am using is not mine I don't want to spend the money for anything to go with it, unless I get one.. which my second thought was to look for a laptop to run fedora on from ebay, or somthing...

You know that Linux is better than Windoze even though you've never used Linux. (haven't untill recently)
You wonder how many Ghz your brain operates at and how you might overclock it.
You meet an annoying person and think of the proper C code to debug them.
Everything on a shopping list is a reference to an object.
When your brother finally gets time to stop in from out of state and you meet his wife for the fust time. %95 of your conversations were about computers.
You put in apps online for the restuaunt down the road with a NOW HIRING sign visible from your window.
