Well, I didn't intend to delete that blog post, but as soon as I told the school about the critique, I was basically bossed into deleting that.

And sorry for making you feel insulted in that reply to your post: apparently I was too mad at the sin of greed to respond positive. If you think I intended to attack you with that critique about Miley, I didn't.

I would have politely shown them a comparison of my extended middle finger as opposed to the rest of my retracted ones.

Then again, I ended up dropping out of school...

It's OK I guess -- some acknowledgment or differentiation** would have been nice though.

Well, I do read the news; quite a bit actually. My little sister loves 'Hannah Montana' and my Mom and I have been trying to ween her off of her music because she 'has turned for the worst'.

I wasn't shocked at the fact, I was shocked at the way you said it.

EDIT: Forgot something.

**I was looking up something that meant differentiation since I thought it wasn't a word (but it is I guess -- I'm the next Shakespeare! not), so I Googled:

and I got these results: http://www.google.com/search?q=the+a...ient=firefox-a
WTF?

That's understandable too; I tended to approach that situation in a rather extreme fashion. We both are human; we both make mistakes.

Besides, if it's your sister and not your daughter, how old exactly are you? (Don't worry; if you're under 18 so am I).

Wow... You're closer to Miley's age than I ever will be!

She turned 18 on November 23.

Don't these men take everything a woman says as a "problem" which needs to be "solved"?

Suggestion to YOU:
When your spouse/girlfriend/mistress etc. tells you about some incident that happened during the day, don't start providing the solutions, it is more likely that she just wants you to "listen" calmly to her and expects you to take her in your arms and pat her back. That's all!
Try that and see if you find some behavior changes within her.

I think a man with a mistress has bigger problems.

I voted 'Other'.

To win any big lottery game. I want to go into any store and say "I'd TAKE IT!" instead of "How much..."

@anisha kaul - yup that is the best way out, a cuddle or a pat on the head or perhaps even a simple touch.
I _do_ listen but somehow it does not look that big or bad in my prespective. The main issue however is opening my mouth. Whenever I try to talk to her somehow instead of a resolution I end up messing it up a lot more .
Answer: Do not say anything for the first few minutes and then when the emotional tide ebbs away then talk sense.
BTW - The tips you provided are good. Thanks.

Nice! Seems that you can make a great party for the end of the year then!

By the way, how many years does that have? If I can see well says "1866"?

@dv502 - Happy you requested something, but aren't you asking too much?

And about the "husband and crush stuff", I understand that people on this season have some requests for it.
But come on, we all have our own personality(that's what is our freedom for), that makes us react different,
on different situations, but we are humans, we all make mistakes and deserve the respect of each other.
What we need is someone who cares about us and isn't afraid of telling us when "we" act in a way that person doesn't like.
Respect to be respected, care to be cared ... well you get it. (Maybe I'm listening to much "The Script").

Is just sad that some individuals remember that just this time...
Well have a nice Christmas, because Christmas is about love(at least for me).

cheers and 5 days left!
Santa is probably already making the "travel plan"

The bold text above is the main problem.

When it does not look big/bad to you, it means that she just wants someone to whom she can tell what happened during the day (just for the sake of sharing whatever was it), so just keep on saying "Umm", "Aah", "Oh", "Really", "Is that so?", __do not try to solve problems which do not exist__, and when you react the way I told you, don't look astray, in fact look into her eyes __all the time__, make her feel that you __are interested__ even if you aren't!!

I am sure you'll get a good dinner (as a reward) if you follow this strategy, and dinner doesn't refer to food here

Actually that's the way it goes on in a __mailing list__, and it doesn't put much strain on eyes I think :-)
