Would like some info about Dell Optiplex cases

I was at my dad's work and saw a Dell Optiplex Desktop case and I like them ALOT. Anyway my system specs are in my Sig. I was wondering if i can move my components into a one of the Optiplex cases or a similar one size wise. I have a Dell E510 original Mobo which i think is standard ATX but am not sure.

I don't think so. Right now, I'm sitting in front of an Dell Optiplex 745. Looking at the back of the case, it only has 3 expansion card slots, and no space below that. Looking at pictures of a Dell Dimension E510, there are 4 expansion card slots. The E510 motherboard absolutely will not fit in an Optiplex 745 case.

Neither the E510 nor the Optiplex 745 use an ATX motherboard. It's a BTX style layout, but I don't know whether it complies entirely to the BTX standard.

thanks, i just saw the things from the front and didn't look at the back since my dads coworker probably wouldn't have taken well to me rearranging their desk to look at their computer. I just like the size of them.

Im looking for a way to make my computer more portable, at least the tower since i dont have a laptop yet and would like to carry it with me someplaces where i do CAD work for people.
