wish me luck

I am just about to install my second Linux distro on my work laptop. I am dual booting with Windows XP. Just wanted to send a note out to get some moral support; I am a little nervous. I am installing Fedora Core 2.

Best of luck, but take a look at the bug in FC2 which may fail booting into XP. I installed FC2 but did not have any problems. Anyway, best of luck once again.

Sorry; just so used to going to this forum; anyway, I am writing this from the successful installation of Fedora C2 on my laptop. The only thing that went even remotely wrong is that it didn't seem to recognize my wireless card. I am going to do some research on how to get that started and will be back if I run into any problems.

Thanks for all the support and encouragement I have received from this group so far. It has made my transition to Linux so much more pleasant.

Congrats! I think one of the best things about Linux is the satisfaction you get when you work hard on something and get it to work in the end.
