WinXP in primary master not detected after changing battery
hi i know that I may be an Off topic but Linux is still (i think) involved here.
I got 2 HD -- maxtor : winXP OS and WD : linux OS
the windows is in PRIMARY MASTER and LInux is in the Secondary Master
JUST after changing battery on my mobo, this happened. IT was still read on the CMOS.. using AUTO and the option DETECT ALL HD.. now when LILO is booted.. since all the distros is in there including WINXP.. windows does not boot anymore. . but linux does. and i can still access my files in windows since it is mounted..
On the other hand, we do have a number of Win users here and we do have a place for their questions, despite the primary focus being Linux. I have moved this thread to General, which is where Windows questions live.

oh ok.. sorry for that, btw, its ok for me to drop windows since i have already back up 85% of my windows files in my usb hd. . my hindrances are photo editing.. -- which is double the pressure in using GIMP plus installing gphoto for recognizing usb cams. .anyways thanks for the support.
