Windowsquestions.org?

Good Morning!

In short, I'm after a Windows equivalent of here. I administer a (nearly) Windows-only network, and I've been coming up against problems increasingly frequently recently.

I'd like good, technical and fairly quick responses to questions about Windows 9x+ (through to Win7/Server08), applications, Dos, batch files, hardware compatability etc. It's mostly business and workplace computing (it's entirely for stuff I do at work). I've no real interest in gaming, case modding or the like. Somewhere sympathetic to my coming-from-linux approach would be nice, but probably asking a touch too much ;)

I'm not interested in OS wars, and I'd be quite happy with a mailing list.[0]

I've tried the MS-hosted Windows mailing lists and they seem incredibly slow, as do their forums. There's a plethora of smaller forums, which I'm willing to have a go on, but I was wondering if anyone on here moonlighted on The Other Side and had good recommendations?

[0] Provided, of course, that they top post ;)

Good windows help forms are hard to come by these days as more and more people move away from that platform all the oldskool dos and win9x hackers out there are usally on other systems now a days.

www.techguy.org. Good board.

I used to post there until one of the mods made me mad.

Haha, I did notice that just after posting the topic. Nicely shrewd move there.
