Sorry about the Windows question, not a member of any other forums thats all...
I send/receive files from my mobile phone using Bluetooth via a USB dongle. I can do this on my linux box fine but there is way better software available for Windows. My plan is to do some stuff on a Windows box, find some kind of USB data sniffer to see whats sent back and forth so I can take an attempt at replicating it in Python using Pybluez. I could use the OBEX specification but to get it incurs a $20 admin fee which kind of sucks big time. Any suggestions of a sniffer I could use for this?
I Googled for usb sniffer and got a lot of apps that sniff between the bus and the device drivers, but I just want raw data sent/received over the socket? Anybody know of any apps that will do this? Will the bus-to-driver ones give me this data as well, but just leave me with a heap of other stuff I'll need to parse out somehow?
If anyone has any advice I'd greatly appreciate it
