I am installing my Slackware OS and need help with creating a link between it and and windows 98 computer.
I am not sure what you are talking about but sounds like you want to share files/printers between your windows and linux computer. If that's the question then you would need samba.
Moved: This thread is more suitable in General, since it appears that you're asking for a hint on networking Win98, and has been moved accordingly to help your thread/question get the exposure it deserves.
There are excellent how-tos if you google around. That would get you going on setting up samba server on linux. First you would need to configure your linux box and then you might have to do some tweaking with windows. Once you have the basics of samba and how it works you can come here with specific questions for help.
