Windows for devices cheaper than Linux: Study
 

Well it says the study was funded by Microsoft! So obviously it will be in Microsoft's favor. :O

All I can think of every time M$ releases a study like this is Billy Gates talking in the 3rd person like Bob Dole.

"Billy thinks Windows is cheaper than Linux"
"Billy paid for this study"
"Billy likes Hersey's ice cream."

*This* is part of why I have a soft spot for DOS and would never touch an Apple. Well, I did *touch* one once. At school. Briefly. Because I had to. MS is evil and always was to a greater or lesser extent but, motives aside, MS-DOS was for PCs and PCs were for everybody! The world would be an even worse place today if they hadn't clobbered Apple. Expensive proprietary software *and* hardware in the hands of a *single* company. It's just that now it's MS's turn. *g* Especially as Microsoft has gone a long way to reproprietarizing hardware with computers full of winmodems and funky devices and "Designed for Windows" stamped on 'em.

Hehe! Yeah, coz you would need someone who can administer it properly, which costs more. But you only need one of them for many servers rather than one admin per box :D

This important study will prove that Linux <insert whatever it takes to sway you to Windows instead> than Windows.

What the hell is wrong with you people? Yea windows sucks! and microsoft has a monopoly but why do you despise Bill gates? He is a great success story, Are you all jealous of his money or something? you people need to rethink your own feelings and ideas on why you use linux and if its because you dont like Capitalism then fine, Be jealous, angry and bitter cuz you dont have what others work for. :tisk:
