Windows 95 Startup Sound

Hey everyone,

I know this sounds completely ridiculous, but I'm on a hunt for the old Windows 95 Start Up Sound. Posting this in a linux forum is weird, but you guys are awesome at finding solutions to everyting else so I thought I might give it a try. In my searches I've only been able to find the Fake start up sound that then makes a sound like the computer is crashing. I've also come across it's original names which is "The Microsoft Sound". So anyways, if someone could post a link to a copy of that sound file, I'd be very happy.

Thanks,
vital_101

Hey... Psst... Yeah, you... I got what ya need, man.
FACKINwww.angelfire.com/games5/clockmaster/themicrosoftsound.wavFACKIN

Copy and paste the URL between the FACKINs to retrieve the file. Angelfire is really bad and don't allow direct linking. They suck! I highly recommend that if you want to make a site, you stay away from angelfire as hosts.

Hey, while we're at it, does anyone have the Windows XP startup sound? I'd really appreciate it.

ok, this was before my time. Did DOS have a startup sound? I'm assuming not, and that's why it's funny, but I felt the need to ask.

How about the WindowsNT 4.0 startup sound? I always liked that one.

Windows startup files? I still use Windows XP, the last version of Windows I'll ever use, I'm thinking of keeping some of the sound files for when my Xubuntu and Puppy Linux starts up!
