windows 10 ssh server question
Ello All:)
Here is my basic setup. I have a ssh server at home that i use as a file server via sftp with keys. however, i will be setting up a account that i can log into with a username and strong password. This account will only allow me to upload/download files in my root directory. No shell access or anything else. Here is my issue. If i am on a public pc, such as that at my universities library doing homework, and i need a file, i have no way of logging into the server. The schools PC's will not allow you to install any software. With that said, is there a browser based sftp client or at least a client that can run with out admin rights, and does not need to be installed? thanks Matt |
My go-to Windows sftp client is WinSCP.
If that's not present on a PC you can't add it to, then there may be something here. |
